Our grand yet cosy second story is a stylish and vibrant venue to host your wedding ceremony and reception celebration. We have a variety of options based on your aesthetic and tastes, tailoring each package to cater for your every desire. We specialise in functions for our corporate clients whether it is a networking brunch, team building lunch or EOFY dinners, we can accommodate your next work event at our function rooms. Our exquisite brunch grazing table with coffees included is a great way to start the work day. We can tailor our space to suit your business requirements and time constraints.

Don’t go any further than our beautiful function rooms on the second level of the iconic Casa de Playa building. Planning your next big milestone birthday or simply your 43rd birthday, we are here to tailor make a party to rival any birthdays before. Design your own signature cocktail and create your own dream culinary experience, we can ensure your birthday is one to remember.

Our unique function rooms can accommodate a wide range of special occasions. From celebrations of engagements or anniversaries, to the difficult task of saying farewell to a loved one, we can ensure the planning of these special occasions are made easier by our experienced function coordinator, who will guide you through these times.

EL AMBIENTe

The mood room is a relaxing space for private dinners, conference or small cocktail events. With a plasma screen and a beautiful roaring fireplace that is perfect for curing winter blues. In the warmer months, you can open the doors to the terrace and enjoy watching the hustle and bustle of Mornington Main Street. A perfect private space for any occasion.

El atrio

The Atrium room has soaring industrial windows and a majestic glass conservatory roof with views atop of Mornington to the bay. With stunning rustic brick wall and a mural of our lady. Sophie & Lola, luscious greenery hanging from the glass roof. The Atrium is the perfect space, and the sunset makes for the perfect background.

EL LOLA

The perfect combination of our beautiful Atrium with soaring skylines and quirky wallpaper. Each space is decorated differently with feature from the original 1800 building.

EL GRAN FEISTA

The Fiesta is like no other with access to all areas of Casa . The big party is the most impressive function space on the Mornington Peninsula.

What Our Clients Say

We had our wedding at Casa De Playa and it was absolutely perfect! It ticked all the boxes for us. The upstairs function area is so beautiful and didn’t need additional decorations (what a cost saver!). The food and drinks packages are so good and affordable! On the night we received so many compliments. Multiple people said ‘this is the first wedding I’ve been to where I won’t be doing a maccas run on the way home’! Which meant a lot to us as food selection was really important for us The staff on the night were exceptional and super attentive. A special mention needs to go to Rhiannon for being absolutely spectacular. No detail was spared with Rhiannon. From being super flexible with every request we had, to even adding additional details on things we weren’t expecting; such as making cocktail menus for us that were named after our pets! Rhiannon was what brought the entire day/night together. She even arranged the flowers on our wedding cake! If you’re looking for a venue to host a special event, Casa is the one! You won’t be disappointed!

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding reception than Casa de Playa! Not only was the venue stunning and the food incredible, Rhiannon and the team ensured that everyone had the best time. We cannot thank Rhiannon enough for her patience, love and support throughout all of the challenges and postponements we faced from COVID-19 lockdowns. It was so great to know we had Rhiannon in our corner throughout it all, and the flexibility to accommodate all the changes that came up. From selecting our menu to setting up the venue, everything was incredibly easy and stress-free. Rhiannon made sure that we were able to accommodate all our needs for the ceremony, and it was absolutely perfect. We couldn’t recommend Casa de Playa highly enough, and we hope that many more couples are lucky to celebrate their wedding at Casa.

"When we went When we went hunting for a wedding reception venue on the Peninsular, we had no idea we would stumble across such a beautiful an unique gem like Casa De Playa. As soon as I saw the top floor, the big glass celling and windows, the fun decor and funky industrial, fiesta like set up, my heart was set. Emma was simply amazing. She just got us completely, she was super easy to communicate with back and forward emails and was also very helpful through all of the planning. The venue on the big day looked absolutely incredible, every detail was so perfect - and we really didn’t have to do much at all. The venue speaks for itself and its vibe is outstanding. The food - my god, the food was phenomenal, we wanted to make sure all of our guests walked out full and happy and they did. We received so many compliments on how beautiful the food was, and how gorgeous the staff were serving us. The little things like the fresh oysters on arrival, the paella making right next to the dance floor for those hungry dancers, the drinks and service - all incredible. Everyone I have spoken to asked how on earth we found Casa De Playa, it was truly the perfect space for our once in a life time fiesta and we are just so happy with how beautiful our night was. The function rooms Was perfect for us. It’s so charismatic and unique. We particularly loved the glass roof which was stunning watching the sunset through it.
