Things To Consider
There are many important things to consider when planning a wedding. When it comes to guest lists, bridesmaids dresses and where Nanna is going to sit we will let you take the lead. But there are many other important factors not to overlook that can easily effect the quality of the day.
Being in Victoria, weather is always a concern and where weddings are involved, travel and accommodation needs to be taken into consideration. We have highlighted some information here helping you get hitched, without a hitch.
If you’re planning a wedding in Mornington you may be concerned about Melbourne’s reputation for having 4 seasons in one day. This can be problematic with an outdoor wedding, but fear not. At Casa De Playa we offer a beautifully decorated functions area housed in an historic Mornington building. Rain, hail or shine your guests will be comfortable in this grand reception venue.
The Mornington Peninsula is a beautiful region and very popular day/weekend trip from Melbourne. As the gateway to the Peninsula, Mornington itself is a perfect place to host a wedding. With freeways and Eastlink connecting it directly to Melbourne and surrounding areas it provides a perfect location, not too far to travel to and from, but seperate from the hustle and bustle of the city.

"Great! We had our ceremony and reception here. Prior to the wedding they were really helpful, flexible and accommodating with what I wanted. On the night, both Bianca and Nicole who assisted us were fantastic, went above and beyond to look after us and our guests. Food was amazing, an endless amount of food. The visual of the room, particularly the bar, they made look stunning."
